The Angus Robinson, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Foundation is a
non-profit 501(c)(3) education foundation established in the memory of
Angus Robinson, Jr., who was a leader in the reinsurance industry for
nearly 20 years. The Foundation awards scholarships to students of Risk
Management, Insurance or Actuarial Science.
The Foundation
is called "the Angus" for short, but it has a long
history of scholarship support within the reinsurance and
insurance industry. We have made awards to candidates in many
colleges and universities, throughout the United States and Canada. We
have a committee looking at new development ideas, as well as those
concentrating on scholarships, finance and board development.
